Operations & Client Services

Oz Papados brings a background in law, mediation, community leadership, and firsthand special education advocacy to her work with Educational Resources Group of Greater Washington. Working closely with founder Stacy Ganz Kahn, she supports client intake, family communications, service agreements, and the development of organizational systems that help families access and navigate ERGGW’s services.

Her work includes improving internal processes, coordinating information, and supporting clear communication between families and the advocacy team. She approaches these responsibilities with attention to detail and an understanding of the pressures families face when seeking educational support.

Personal Experience & Educational Advocacy

As the parent of a child with disabilities, Oz understands the persistence, preparation, and emotional investment involved in navigating special education. Her experience advocating for her own child and others includes participating in IEP meetings, reviewing educational records, and pursuing the state complaint process.

That experience informs her commitment to helping families feel heard, understand their options, and participate meaningfully in decisions affecting their children.

Legal Background & Professional Training

Oz graduated from law school and completed training in both basic and family mediation. She also completed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training in applied behavior analysis (ABA). In her work with families and colleagues, Oz draws on her negotiation skills to clarify priorities, find common ground, and work toward practical solutions. Her approach is grounded in careful documentation and constructive communication.

Community Leadership & Inclusion

Oz serves on the Board of Directors of her congregation, co-chairs its Social Action Committee and Direct Service Team, and serves as president of the Rock Terrace School Parent Teacher Student Group, as well as other non-profit boards and volunteer teams. Her community work includes volunteer coordination, direct service, and initiatives that improve access and participation for people with disabilities and their families.

Focus & Vision

Oz is committed to combining thoughtful organizational leadership with compassionate family support. She believes that clear communication, reliable systems, and respect for each family’s experience are essential to effective advocacy.
